How to attach missing pieces to window frame?

I have four long thin panels of wood to attach to the inner wooden frame of these style of windows. They are shut in the image but do open up to expose the windows. I have marked where the wooden panels need to go in the pic. They have a sticky adhesive attached already to stick them back in but they are not useful and won't do the job. They have really lost their stick. Looking for something that will be long term and more permanent so as not to keep fixing it.

Just so we can give you the best advice, could you share a little more detail about those panels? Are they a veneer piece that’s come away from the frame? If that’s the case, a contact adhesive would usually be the way to go for a long-term fix. If you’re able to post a photo of the actual panels themselves, along with the spots where they’re meant to attach, that would give us some extra context and help us point you in the right direction. Sorry to ask you to go to the trouble, but it’ll really help us give you a more reliable solution.

It's a long thin panels that comes away from the window.

Here is a pic of it. I am assuming for now it is veneer.

I'd suggest scraping the adhesive strip off, applying a thin bead of Liquid Nails and then tacking it back in place with small pin nails.

There are no nails currently in any if the pieces, will the thin bead of liquid nails not be enough to secure it permanently?

Quite possibly @Innov8tive. You might like to scratch up the back of the trim and where it will be mounted to give the adhesive something to grip onto. Ensure you tape the trim in position until the glue has cured.

Ok no worries @MitchellMc I'll try this first and if any issues I'll tack it in with the nails at a later stage.
