How to patch walls and ceiling?

I've got a few places in my kitchen i need to patch up after removing a kitchen bench top / lights / power etc.

The first one has part of old cabinet / plasterboard and gap from where the benchtop was.

I'd love to get list of what i'd need to buy + if there's a video / instructions online somewhere please.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about patching your walls.

Your first picture appears to have two types of media attached to it, one is plasterboard or panel, and the other side is a laminated panel. In order to get a nice flat even surface, I suggest removing both panels and replacing it with one single panel. Depending on the conditions present such as the space available and if the panel needs to accommodate other factors. I propose looking at either standard CUSTOMwood 1200 x 600 x 6mm White Standard Backing Board MDF E0 or perhaps Gyprock CSR 2400 x 1200 x 10mm 2.88sqm Plasterboard RE. Standard plastering and painting techniques will apply if you use plasterboard to patch the wall.

Your second picture appears to be a brick wall with a rendered surface on it. Can you please verify this and let us know if it is made of different materials? It is difficult to tell as the hole is too far to be analysed. Can you also please tell us if this was former power point or electrical outlet?

The third picture which is a hole cut out for a down light can be covered with a Pfeiffer 15cm Plaster Repair Wall Patch. I suggest having a look at this guide - How to patch a plaster wall to give you an idea how the patch is used.
