help. what can i use to replace my outside window black edging

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your external window seals.
Just a quick reminder that working with glass is dangerous, an accidental hit with a tool or when too much force is applied could shatter the glass and cause injury. Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves and goggles when working with glass.
If you are referring to the torn rubber skirt in the middle of your window, I'm not sure if there is an equivalent of it at the store. If you can pull a piece of it out intact you can use its profile as a guide to see if any of the rubber pieces at the store are similar. If you can take a picture of the window open with its side profile revealed, perhaps we can suggest an alternative.
I'm a bit hesitant to make a recommendation about sealing it as it might serve as a form of ventilation.

No screw, here is a pic of one of my windows where the seal has gone completely. You can see the drainage holes.
Let me tag @AlanM52 to make them aware of the picture you posted. It does appear to be a form of waterproof skirting to prevent water from coming in but still allow ventilation to pass through. I propose having a look at installing Moroday MDS2B Self-Adhesive Black Econo Door-Seal on top to serve as a possible replacement.

I must admit I havnt seen that type of strip before, I was also going the route of a hidden scew as @AlanM52 mentions. So another question, the window with the rubber strip missing, does it have any residue of glue or maybe wedging between two sections of the metal? If not then I am heading towards a material such as @EricL has mentioned.

Is there a thinner option of the door seal as Thant one is 50mm thick and our gap is 20mm.
No residue or glue, the strip is thin and plastic like and snaps off. I’m hoping there is a thinner option for the door seal as the gap is only 20mm thick.
The only shorter model is the Raven RP5 Door Bottom Clear 920mm. However, it is possible to trim the rubber gasket of the Moroday MDS2B Self-Adhesive Black Econo Door-Seal with a Stanley knife.

I would chance go to a local glazier and see if they have acess to rubber seals more aligned to teh windows that you have. It dosnt hurt to ask is the way I figure it. 🙂
