I propose using a soft toothbrush and some washing machine detergent along with water to lift the dust and debris that has settled in the benchtop crack. Once it is totally dry, I propose putting a temporary seal such as Waxstix White Timbermate Touch Up Crayon. Please try a small section first to make sure that its compatible with your benchtop.
