How to buff and shine timber floors?

Hi, I'm looking for a suggestion for the best way to give some care and love back to our floorboards. The are in pretty good condition but its lost its shine and become dull. In certain light you can see scuff marks, almost like it needs a polish and shine. It's a polyurethane coating.

I suggest using Cabot's 1L Floor Clean to clean the surface of your timber floor. It is an all-purpose interior timber cleaner that is fast acting on grease and grime. Once the floor has been totally cleaned and has dried off, I then recommend using Cabot's 1L Floor Polish. If you wish to give your entire floor a once over, I suggest moving the furniture in the area to another location while you apply the floor polish.

My best advice is to give the polish enough time to cure before you put all the furniture back into place.

Thanks Eric, there's a couple of places on the floor where the original surface has been scratched or items dropped and small dented the floor. Do you think the Polish will be ok on these areas? Or so you think they will be more noticeable?

The polish should disguise these areas nicely; my only tip is to make sure that the polish does not pool into deep depressions in the timber. Wipe away excess polish if you see it pools in the dents.
