Hi, i need help in determining is it a faulty inlet valve or something else. I have check for fault flush valve by turning off the cistern tap and there appears to be no leak, also removing the flush valve and the washer is still good.
The cistern water level doesn't stop filling up when the balloon is floating, reaches a level and start to give hissing sound, and water level rises slowly before it overflow into the opening beside flush valve into toilet bowl.
If i have to remove and replace the inlet valve, how do i go about doing it?
Side note:
I installed a toilet spray bidet before, but it has since turn faulty and so i have to remove it from the cistern tap and blocked off the tap connecting the bidet.
Appreciate any help for DIY, or i may need a professional to fix?
