How to polish a brass letterbox?

1900 brass

letterbox for front door. I have stripped 12 coats pain (inc lead) and now trying to polish but stuck with a verdigris colour. Any tips for the last bit - polish brush for a drill? Have tried brasso but discolour is strong.

Thanks for sharing your question about polishing your brass letterbox front accessory. I propose using Bar Keepers Friend 737ml Liquid Soft Cleanser. I suggest using a soft toothbrush and clean rag to polish the surface of the brass piece. Another method you can try is to use a Craftright 8 Piece Drill Polishing Kit in combination with Josco SSX Green Polishing Compound.
