How to install waterproofing?

I am currently renovating a bathroom. I have all the cement sheet boards up and all joints have been taped with alkaline mesh tape and filled with cement board joint compound. I'm just wondering when I waterproof everything do you put waterproofing mesh on all the joints still even know the mesh tape is there do I just lay it over the top?

Just a friendly reminder that water proofing must be installed and applied by a trained, certified agent registered with the local council.

For overall safety, I would recommend putting waterproofing mesh on all the joints.
