A cottage-style garden created utilising a vintage bathtub for a raised garden bed.
The project
I’ve always loved the cottage garden look. In Winter 2024 with the help of my amazing partner Steve, I removed my unused garden shed and replaced it with a vintage bathtub garden bed. This is just outside my bedroom window and it’s so delightful to look at whether I am inside or outside.
Steps
Step 1
This is my amazing partner Steve. A true handyman he came equiped with his knowledge and tools to help me disassemble this unused shed.
Step 2
With my shed down my vision became easier to visualise.
Step 3
This is actually the second lot of plants I planted in the tub. The first lot didn’t survive. Gardening has been a lot of trial and error for me. But I’ve always had fun along the way. Also purchased a rain water tank which is to the side of the tub!
