How to mix lime with hardwall plaster?

Hi there, how much hydrated lime should I add to Gyprock Hardwall Pladter for best plaster finish?

Hi @gregaldous,

The Hardwall Plaster - Product Data Sheet states that -

"The normal ratio should be 2x20kg bags of Gyprock Hardwall Plaster to a 3x20 Litre bags of lime putty or a 1x20kg bag of Hydrated Lime."

So essentially, you want 2 parts hardwall plaster to 1 part hydrated lime.

This will give you a smooth workable mix that will give a fantastic finish.
