How to treat bugs on tomato plant?

My tomato plants are growing well but from last few days , i am seeing bugs on tomatoes and leaves which  causes drying of leaves and rotting the tomatoes aswell , i put some neem oil spray , i water thrice in a week , they get  6 to 8 hrs of sunlight. what else i can do pls sugges?

Thank you for your questions about your tomatoes and the pest issue you are having.

They look to be green vegetable bugs, sometimes referred to as stink bugs, which are fairly common. Check out this article from our supplier, Yates, for some further information - How to Get Rid of Green Vegetable Bug in Your Garden.

An application of neem oil is a good start, but it might be worth trying something like the Yates Advanced Garden Insect Killer, which was recommended in their article.

Another option, which should only be done when the bugs have been physically removed from the plant, is to put Netting Sleeves over your tomato plants. This will prevent them from being able to physically get to the tomatoes.
