How to fix vertical gap in Colorbond fence?

Hi all. I have just had a developer replace our rear retaining wall due to a development on the block behind and due to vibration of the excavator and some slight movement its popped a side fence out. The rear retaining wall has now been replaced (the old one was bowed) but I need to fix this gap. Given the vertical posts are concreted in, I don't think trying to move it back into place is really a viable option. Was thinking of cutting a v shaped piece of aluminium flashing and Tec screwing it into the posts and then just spray painting it in the colour bond Woodland grey. Is that the best option? Would cutting a few holes in the posts compromise their structural integrity? Would love to hear any other ideas. Thanks.

Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Considering the base of the post is pretty close, but the top is spread apart, I would honestly try bending the post back before anything else. It looks like the post on the right is the one that is out of plumb. How many additional posts are there to the right of the photo? Do they have similar gaps or leans?

We'd obviously need to see if the idea is feasible first, but bending the post back with a ratchet strap could certainly be an option.

If there's no way this would work, then covering the gap with some aluminium flat bar or a piece of aluminium sheet cut to size, then painting it with Dulux Metalshield Woodland Grey, would certainly be an option.

Adding a few extra screws to the posts wouldn't adversely compromise their strength. You could fix it to the posts with these Bremick 10g x 16mm Woodland Grey Fencing Screws.
