How to fix lytworxlights Motion Activated Dragon?

I bought the Motion activated Dragon 2024 Halloween. It worked fine last year, Tested at christmas time 2024.

Now it is Oct 2025 and it isn't working.

It is getting power but the motor is not spinning/ working.

Need help...

Sorry to hear your Lytworx Motion Activated Dragon isn’t working this year. If the motor isn’t operating when power is connected, unfortunately, there’s not much we can do in terms of troubleshooting. The only other thing worth checking is whether the dragon is activated by motion or if it requires a remote or switch to power on, just in case it’s been set differently since last use.

As the product should still be under warranty, I’d recommend taking it, along with your receipt, into your nearest store so the team can assist with a warranty return or replacement.

Thanks for the reply, but alas i have not got the receipt anymore as it had faded and can't see anything on it. 😫

I guess i will have to find another way to get it working.

Hi @Shanka73,

Can you recall how long before Halloween 2024 you purchased the product, and perhaps an approximate cost? If so, you could go back through your bank statements and note down a few possible transactions. The team at the store of purchase can then look them up to see if they are the purchase of the dragon and reprint your receipt.

Thank you again for your suggestion, but i paid cash for the cursed devil of a dragon.

Do you know if there is any possibility of getting parts for the dragon?

Or I guess it could be just a static statue.

It still might be worth speaking with the in-store team if you knew an approximate date of purchase, @Shanka73.

That’s certainly a possibility. However, we’d first need to identify what exactly has failed. It could be something as simple as a faulty transformer, or it might be that the transformer is still working, but the motor has failed. There’s also the chance that a linkage inside has broken, which can sometimes be harder to diagnose without opening it up. Before we look into parts, we'd need to try to determine which component has stopped working, which might be difficult if nothing happens when turned on.
