Hi, I ordered a garage door seal online to cover the top and side gaps of my roller door. I didn’t pay much attention when purchasing, assuming my garage door had wooden jambs. However, I later found out it’s just exposed brick with no jambs at all. The seal I bought has an adhesive strip and can also be fastened with screws.
I’d like to ask:
-
Since the adhesive tape may not stick well to the porous brick surface, what alternative product can I use to attach it securely without causing any damage or residue if I need to remove the seal later?
-
What kind of fasteners or screws would be suitable for securing it to the brick wall after applying the adhesive?
