Hi,
I've got the RapidFence 1200 x 1870mm Grey Adjustable Steel Gate Frame Kit (https://www.bunnings.com.au/rapidfence-1200-x-1870mm-grey-adjustable-steel-gate-frame-kit_p0436377?srsltid=AfmBOorUv73GKNgOlEdXSixLL2Hgem7-3tY_mS0S0Wu4i65h23S3_ADj) and I want to hang it on a 70 mm x 70 mm steel fence post that is powder coated.
Apart from using a bolt all the way through the post is there any other way to hang it? Wondering if tek screws would be able to hold the weight. I am planning to panel the gate using wood.
Thanks
Hi @lockieRichter,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
I believe these gate kits come with fixings, but if not, some 14G 25mm hex head tek screws would do the trick. With 6 screws, the weight of the gate is going to be adequately supported.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
