How to ensure same colour paint matches?

I'm currently renting - moving out soon so we have been doing some touchs up. I asked the real estate that we are with for the paint colour that the owners had used on the walls which they said was "Berkshire White - Dulux". Went to bunnings and we got a sample pot and then got to painting the areas that needed a touch up... But it looks like two different colours - just doesnt blend in at all and I've done 2 light coats to cover marks on wall. Im not too sure if we are even allowed to paint the whole wall.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your colour paint match. 

It's clear that the original Berkshire White has aged and is no longer the same colour as the original. There is also the possibility that the owner gave you the wrong colour. If you still have time, I propose going behind one of the doors and cutting a small square piece of the wall about the size of a 10cent coin. Bring this paint sample to the paint specialist and ask them to do a colour match.  

Once you have the colour match test it on the wall you painted earlier and observe. It may look different while its wet so make sure to allow the paint to dry off in order to get the true colour. If successful and the colour matches, I suggest using UNi-PRO 500g Multi Purpose Interior Filler on the wall that you cut the sample square from. Allow the filler to dry, sand down and paint over.

You can now proceed with your paint touch up around the house.
