How to connect pressure reducer to irrigation system?

Hello,

I'm setting up an irrigation system (using 13mm and 4mm poly pipes + Pope veriflow drippers) for my home garden and came across few blog posts re importance of a pressure reducer. I decided to by this:

I bought 13mm "nut and tail" adaptor for bottom to fix the poly pipe. However, Im just wondering how I connect the top to my outdoor brass male tap (I believe it's 25mm or 20mm) or a tap timer (still male threads). I couldn't find any suitable adaptor for this connection. 

Appreciate any recommendations on this. 

Feel free to suggest any other (or better) pressure reducer and filter that's more simpler to install. The reason I chose this over other brands is just considering customer reviews about leaks and faults.

Hi @Sanju,

That is an inline filter/pressure reducer, not one that you'd attach to your tap or timer. You would attach a barbed fitting to either end and insert it in your 13mm pipe. If you were after one for your tap or timer, I would return it and instead pick up a Pope 300kPa Pressure Reducer. If you're after a separate filter, you can instead use one of these Holman 13mm Pressure Reducer And Filter Assemblies.

If you did want to use the filter you have, you would first attach a nut and tail to your tap, then a short, say 10cm length of 13mm pipe. The filter would be attached to that. Then, off the bottom of the filter, you would attach another barbed nut and tail, and then connect your 13mm irrigation pipe to it.
