How to install lock in sliding patio door?

Hi Folks

I have 3 diamond Grille sliding door that open to patios. Two of them have just mesh, but no grill. They are in working condition but do not get locked. No locking setup done. Since it is Summer, we like to them at night as well but it is making a little harder (safety issue) since not having locking.

1.) Any chances I can setup a locking mechanism in existing door?

2.) Any chance we can insert Grille. I doubt about this though

3.) Any chances I can buy off the shelves? The size is 1100x2050.

I suggest having a look at the Rolltrak Black Sliding Screen Door Lock and the Rolltrak Black Sliding Patio Door Keyed Lock Set to lock your sliding screen doors. I'm sorry, the store currently does not have this particular type of security grill.

I also suggest checking the stores Door Lock Installation Service, especially if you are looking for a professional to install your door lock.

I think i will check the store because I would like to know if doors like these are available with grille on them (if that's the right terminology)

Do you think Door Lock Installation Service will have info on if i could get diamond grille one ?

I've looked at the stores website and can't find a sliding door security grille only hinged one's. But you can certainly ask the team about the door lock systems.
