Do you need to apply new timber prep till the tannins are completely gone?

Hi, I've started treating my merbau panels with new timber prep and deck clean as per instructions. I noticed that while drying, most of the panels look more bare (as expected) but I still see little blobs of tannin/oil where I guess the treatment didn't remove completely. Should I redo the whole process again on those sections or are they ok to leave? At which point would I know that is ok to oil? Also, would you typically do the underside as well or just the top? Apologies for all the questions!

It appears that some parts of the deck are still bleeding tannin. It's possible that these are deep seated pockets of tannin, I recommend letting it bleed out for a few days before re-applying the tannin remover and cleaner. My best advice is to give the tannin remover and cleaner enough time to soak into the decking panel before washing it off. I suggest using a pressure washer if you have access to one.

Once you see that there is no more tannin bleeding and the decking panels are totally dry that would be time to oil it. In regards to the cleaning application, you only need to use it on top of the decking panel.
