I am looking to extend and build a semi habital space in the carport area of this shed. It is roughly 3m x 8m and about 3.6m on the side of the shed up to 4.2m to the apex.
There is no slab in the area we want to build. So I’m hoping to do the slab myself and build the walls and just clad the outside with the same steel used already. I have some building experience but not a lot. We don’t have a lot of $ so going with second hand glazing. I have an idea of the layout and will share that soon. But I guess I wanted to ask how much you think something like this would cost? The Main reason for going this route is to get ourselves on the land to live in the shed then look to build our main house after. I’m just tracking the journey so if anyone else can guide me or needs some direction this thread will be available. I look forward to the journey, it’s not my first rodeo but I know it’s a big task. But I’m determined and keen to get it happening. Appreciate any and all advice.
