One of the best ways to get more out of a cheap table saw is to incorporate it into a workstation which greatly facilitates the ripping and crosscutting of sheet goods like plywood, MDF, and melamine.
Another is to replace the usually deficient stock fence with a DIY Beisemeyer style fence.
