How to protect outdoor tiles?

Hello, I am making several tiles with designs, I want to protect the tiles so they can be used as a tea pot stand and even used outdoors and still be protected. The Epoxy Doming resin worked perfectly but is too expensive (also it dried very slowly so the finish included dust which has been difficlt to sand). I was wondering about using epoxy resin or even polyurethane. Would these be suitable and leave a clear durable surface?

What are the tiles made of? Are they ceramic?

Is the design baked into them, or did you paint them? If so, what kind of paint did you use?

This Boyle Crafty Resin 1L (500ml+500ml) Kit would be a good option. It is clear, UV-resistant and heat-resistant up to 80°c, so it ticks the boxes you are after. Curing time is up to 24 hours, though, so you would need to take this into account if you were to use it.

Assuming you have used water-based paint, you could also use this Cabot's Water Based Cabothane Clear Polyurethane as long as the paint is sanded to remove any glossiness from the paint. This is a clear coating that is UV resistant, although it would be more susceptible to heat damage than the resin.

Alternatively, something simple like this Boyle Clear Gloss Spray Sealer would offer some protection, although it is not going to be as durable long term.
