How to attach mesh for training climbing plants to a limestone wall?

The previous owners of our house had put up this metal mesh. I'm now replacing the plant that they had there and the mesh fell off because the screws easily fell out. I've attached photos of what they used to attach it.

I'm wondering what the best way to attach this is?

Thanks for sharing your question about attaching your metal mesh to the limestone wall. It appears that the galvanized screws are still in good condition. If the wall plugs have shrunk or deteriorated, I suggest replacing them with new Ramset 7 x 35mm Green Wall Plugs - 25 Pack. But if the holes have gotten wider and bigger, I suggest looking at Ramset 8 x 50mm Blue Wall Plugs Blue - 25 Pack or Ramset 10 x 50mm Anchor RamPlug - 20 Pack. Make sure to give the galvanized screws a good clean before re-using them on the wall.
