Hello, I have a tap over my newly built free standing deck and I'm hoping to divert the hose connection of the tap to a spot about a meter away.
My idea is that I'll use a shortened rubber hose, run it under the deck using two flexi hose connectors, one to the tap and the other to a multi tap adaptor and connect my main garden hose to that adaptor. The adaptor will then be secured to the house wall or a post at the edge of the deck.
That way to use the hose, I will need to switch the main tap on first so functionally it's like having a retractable hose reel.
Is there any issue with what I'm proposing to do? I'm aware there's some things that only plumbers can do but this seems like a simple workaround instead of physically moving the tap.
Thanks
