How to add electric hoist for ebike storage?

Hi,

i have a long tall wall that i would like to hoist up the bikes and slide them across using the trolley on a beam left or right onto bike hooks installed above. Would be ideal if the bike could swivel in transit to ride in and ride out. 

The e-bikes are 25kg each and the winches i find are 250-500kg capacity, way more than required and expensive...

the structure is strong and can support a sliding trolley beam.

have drawn the idea and will take pic of the space.

Any ideas, i only require the mechanical aid as have the bike brackets.

i see lots of pulley systems but post injury, can only manage electric hoist even if slow.

my idea was to hoist in the centre and slide either bike onto the left or right bike racks above. Roof in sunroom Found trolley for $85 heavy duty..Found hoist for 109$ but is way bigger than i need 250-500kg bikes are 25kgHoisted up centre and trolley slides either side bike onto racksis a metre taller than inside.

I'm sorry to hear of your injury. I hope that we can help you find a solution that will work for you.

An electric hoist seems like a great idea, but I'm not so sure that the one you've uploaded would be a great option, purely because it appears to need an industrial-style steel beam to run along, which wouldn't be the easiest thing to install D.I.Y.

The other thing I would have some slight concerns with is where it would be mounted. Your sunroom appears to be a relatively rudimentary structure made with aluminium posts and very little framing. You would want to confirm that by installing a hoist, you are not overloading this structure and could potentially cause damage to it. If you knew the manufacturer of the sunroom, you could contact them for guidance; otherwise, you might need to have an engineer inspect it to confirm whether it is suitable or not.

If you can confirm that it is fine to mount a hoist in this location, my idea is to mount a Gorilla 100kg Electric Hoist at the centre of the space, then install a pulley at the locations you are hoping to lift the bikes to. You can then extend the hoist out, run the line over the pulley and connect it to the bike. When activated, the hoist would then pull the bikes up towards the pulley, where they can then be supported while they are lifted onto the hooks. It would mean moving the hook from one pulley to the other, but it would be a relatively simple way of using its lifting ability in more than one location.
