How to level backyard lawn?

As you can see there is a reasonable slope from the house which flattens out with a dip in the middle. 

I'm seeking ideas/inspiration on options to get this area relativly level??

There is a storm water pit at the back also, which adds to my pain.

any advice/ideas greatly appreciated.

I propose building a small retaining wall about one meter wide to create a flat surface near your home and installing a paved footpath in the middle to level the lower portion of your lawn. I only suggest this as a possible option that has not yet been explored.
