I feel like this is a dumb question but I'm a bit flummoxed as to the best approach. I'm renovating the kitchen but the white tiles of the splashback will stay in situ as they are in good condition. However along the top of the tiles I can't quite work out if it's grout or silicone or both! I want to remove it back to the flat top of the tile so I can either redo and paint or I'll actually add an edging tile to finish it off properly. One part has chipped back to the flat top of the tile but another section looks like silicone but hard. Just trying to work out the best way to tidy up this edge back to the flat top of the tile. Pics for reference. Note...
not cleaned yet!
