hi all, im having a hard time trying to find the same spindle for a kitchen sink refurbishment if anyone could help, as these have stripped
Hello @althauscam welcome to the Workshop Community 👋
A complete replacement spindle & housing unit is required as the housing will most likely also have wear on it's inner threads, the closest I could find in a quick search is linked below but I would highly recommend taking the complete assembly to your nearest hardware store to match up sizing, I work a lot with older plumbing fixtures and sometimes close enough is the best you can achieve (in terms of shaft travel), where housings were still usable I was able to swap in a new spindle, hope that helps somewhat.

Thank you for your reply, I do currently have one of those i have tried swapping out but it doesnt sit deap enough as water just gushes out when I turn the tap back on.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @althauscam. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about tap spindles. When replacing tap spindles, it can be best to consider replacing the whole tap set; that way you get matching spindles and handles.
For spindles to be a direct replacement, they need to be exactly the same. As @DIYGnome mentioned, it's best to take your existing spindle to your nearest Bunnings store and speak with a team member in the plumbing section. They should be able to check our stock to see if there is a matching spindle for replacement. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
Hi @althauscam,
I was passing by and popped in to ask what are your reasons wanting to replace the spindle?
Cheers
