I've just pulled up all the carpet and tacking in my bedroom and living room. Both have aluminium framed windows that extend to the floor. In my bedroom there is a gap between where the concrete pad ends and where the window frame sits. It's a 1981build.
The new flooring will go up to the window frame so I won't see the gap but I don't want insects or other critters to make a home in the gap.
What can I fill the gap with before laying the new flooring? I want to be sure what ever I use wont cause long-term damage to the frame.
