How to replace lcc27 hose for bbq?

 Hi, I have a Nexgrill 5 burner BBQ it is connected with a gas hose with pol connector and 5/8 unf on the other end. I wanted to replace with lcc27 connector by buying gasmate GM4055 1200mm hose with 5/8 unf connection. Issue is I'm getting no gas flow. Am I missing something or is the lcc27 regulator faulty?

Based on your description, the hose should connect to the BBQ and your new LCC27 compatible bottle without any issues, so you should run through a troubleshooting process to determine where the issue might be.

Start by disconnecting the hose from each end and checking that there is no debris in the connections that can affect their function.

After this, reconnect the hose to the BBQ first, followed by the gas bottle, ensuring the threads line up well and they are tightened fully. If the connection to the BBQ is not fully tightened, there is a backcheck valve that will stop gas from flowing, so it is important that this connection is solid. It may require the use of a spanner or pliers to ensure it is tight.

Turn the gas on slowly, ensuring the gas flow on your BBQ is off, then slowly turn the gas on your BBQ on and attempt ignition.

If you run through this process and still find you are having issues, then you can return your gas hose with your receipt for a replacement. If you are still having issues with a replacement hose, then you should either contact the manufacturer of your BBQ for their guidance, or speak with a licensed gas fitter for their assistance.
