how do I get this off tge vertical blind so I can replace to turning mechanism

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
Is there anything on the opposite end of the blind bracket? Any screws or obvious screw caps?
If you can't find a screw or screw cap anywhere, then I suspect you will have to pop something off to pull out the mechanism, possibly the black plastic around that inner aluminium rod.
If you use a flat tool like a flathead screw driver or a butter knife to gently lever the black plastic piece away from the aluminium, does it feel like it moves at all?
