How to replace existing bathroom vent?

Hello,

I would like to replace this vent with something more powerfull and/or install a Vent that has a heater and extractor, the vent goes outside via the wall. I have a flat colour bond roof. . I need something power powerfull to prevent mould. At the moment existing unit is is working good.

I propose looking at these three units:

These 3-1 ventilation units all have powerful motors and expel a minimum of 279 cubic meters an hour and the most powerful one will expel at least 407 cubic meters.

I also suggest checking the stores Exhaust And Heat Lamp Installation Service. It will save you time looking for a professional to install your unit.

Hi Eric,

I was looking at the higher end models from IXL,, the first option needs 15 cm celling clearance and the other 30 cm, with the installation services, what happens if these units don't fit. I have not clue how to check if any of these would fit or work with existing Vent and space.

I'm afraid the only way to find out how much space you have is to remove your existing vent and have a look inside your ceiling. Another way to find out is by looking through your ceilings manhole if there is one available. Otherwise, you will have to manually check the space with a tape measure to see how much space you have in your ceiling.

If the fan unit you have is too big, you can return and exchange it for a smaller unit. Please make sure to keep your docket so that the customer service team can track your sale and process the exchange.
