I rescued a discarded piano stool from the curb and gave it a simple refresh using affordable Bunnings products. The timber was structurally sound but dull and grimy from age and neglect. I gently cleaned the surface, smoothed it back with superfine steel wool, and re-sealed the timber using beeswax to bring back warmth and protection. This project was about sustainability, saving furniture from landfill, and achieving a natural, low-sheen finish with minimal tools and cost
