How to stop tap and flexi hoses spinning?

Hello I recently had a Mondella resonance 40mm pin lever sink mixer installed.was all ok for about 6months and now the tap and mixer spin together causing the flexi hoses to spin . The tap is tightened to the sink am I missing something. Was installed by a licensed plumber

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your kitchen tap.

I suggest looking at the docket from your plumber and see how long their warranty is. Generally speaking, it should be at least a year, but it depends on what they offered you. If it is still under the plumber's warranty, I suggest calling them and asking them to repair the loose kitchen tap. However, if the tap is no longer under warranty of the plumber, it is possible to tighten it up yourself by using a Haron Mixer Tap Spanner Kit.

The basic steps are to re-center the tap to the installation hole and make sure that the tap is in the correct position, it swings equally to the left and right and does not over swing to either side. Once it is in position ask a family member to hold the tap in place and use the spanner kit to tighten the mounting nut under the sink. Your goal is for a firm fix but not overly tight.
