How to fix ceiling fan tripping house main?

Hello team, 

I had bought an Arlec 130 cm ceiling fan with remote - 3 of them  - from Bunnings two years ago. Was working all fine. But all of a sudden, when I switch on the fan, the house mains trips. And this is happening for all three of them. Any idea on what could be wrong.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Anytime you are dealing with an electrical issue like this, you will need to contact a licensed electrician for their assistance. They will be able to investigate the cause of the tripping and either rectify the issue or identify if it is an issue with the fans.

If the issue has something to do with the fans, and they are within their stated warranty period, then you would fill out the Arlec Fan Claim Form.

Unfortunately, due to the high-risk and licenced nature of electrical work, this is the only advice I can offer.
