Can a base mount pull out bin go on the shelf?

I’ve bought a Practa base mount 2x15l pull out bin for under the sink and would like to know if I can mount it on the shelf instead of the cabinet base? It would be easier access to not have to bend and reach to the bottom.
The cabinet is 870 and the shelf is supported by the adjustable pins. Would the shelf support it?

Hi @Pipp,

As long as you have the space to fit it on the shelf heightwise, there shouldn't be any issue. You would just screw the frame down into the shelf as you would the base of the cabinet.

You can reasonably expect a shelf to be able to support the weight of two small bins and their contents.
