How to fill external window before painting?

An outdoor window sill needs a bit of filling before priming and undercoating it with oil based paint from Dulux. It is about 1|2 ▪︎ 3/4 mm deep taping off at the ends and about 20 cms long. Not very big. What can I fill it with to make it level. Builders bog or some other filler. It i

s subject to swelling and Shrinking when it gets wet. Thank you.

I have used Builders Bog for similar issues, and it handles moisture and expansion well.

I wouldnt go for a larger quantity than what you would use. It does go off after a time (I have 2/3rds of a 1L can that is a doorstop now)

Oh it can be painted and treated like timber after it has set :)

Hi @shirley1231,

In line with what you and @Dave-1 have already said, I'd suggest using Builder's Bog.

Just mix the filler with the activator, apply it to the void in the timber using a paint scraper, allow it to harden, then sand it smooth before priming and painting with a minimum of two coats of external paint.
