How to add simple water drain outlet to baby pool?

I have one of those baby pools that I use for all sorts, but no way to get rid of the water without hefting all the water out from where it is located - making a massive mess all over the pavers, wasting all that lovely water as it’s pretty heavy for this middle aged mum once full!

Had an idea to drill a hole into the side, attach some sort of water plug, seal it, that can connect to say an aquarium/water pipe so can drain and reuse the water where I like it?

What simple method and products would I need to do this? Am a newbie but pretty practical and handy and always up for a clever solution!

I apologise, but we're having a few tech hiccups with our Bunnings website at the moment, so the links are temporarily unavailable. I would suggest you pick up a Pope 13mm Barbed In-Line Tap, a Brasshards 20mm Brass Threaded Back Nut, some BOSTON 12mm x 6m Pink High Density Plumbers Thread Seal Tape, a Pope 13mm x 5m Clear Vinyl Tubing and a 20mm spade bit for the hole.

Drill a hole low down on a flat surface. Wrap some thread tape around the thread on the barbed tap. Insert the threaded end through the hole in the shell and screw on the 20mm nut. You'll then be able to push the 13mm vinyl hose onto the barbed end of the tap.

When you're ready to drain, you can simply place the hose where you want it and turn the tap on.
