How to build custom folding wardrobe doors?

Hello, I'm hoping for some guidance on how to build custom folding doors + track system. For context, I previously removed a set of sliding doors as the wardrobe was narrow and difficult to access. The wardrobe is boxed in by walls so, so I'm hoping to add folding doors that would fully open to the sides. There is a entry door on the right wall so the folding doors can't be too wide so thinking either a trifold door (see mock up in the photo) or 2 x bifold doors that open to the sides.

What door and track system materials do I need? I've see prepackaged systems but none seem to fit my wardrobe size. Thank you

I've just finished speaking with the door sales team at Hume Doors who have informed me that it would be possible to use the Multi-fold system that I have linked to above.

The team have let me know that you would need to order four custom door leafs that are 270.5mm wide and 2175mm high and would be installed in a Type B format, which is where you have two leafs on each side that open outwards from the middle. These measurements account for the clearance requirements for the track, and the gaps required between the doors for smooth operation.

The Multi-fold system comes with accessories and a track that is 2m long, which you will have to cut down prior to installation. This can be done with relative ease using a hacksaw.

You will have to speak with the Special Orders team at your local store to organise a quote as this would be a custom order.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of components that could be purchased separately to create your own custom bifolding doors due to the weight constraints placed on the track systems. The only doors you could purchase and cut down considerably to meet your requirements are solid core doors, which would far exceed the weight capacity of standard bifolding track systems.

In saying this, the best option that I could find to meet your requirements, is the Hume Doors & Timber Multi-fold - Interior Folding System, however you will have to let me get in touch with them when they reopen tomorrow to confirm that you could custom order doors for those measurements.

If not, I am sure they will be able to point me in the right direction. Please bear with me, I will get back to you as soon as possible.
