Seeking advice on removing old wall-mounted taps for Quoss Reno Transformer installation

Hello,

I'm planning to upgrade my old wall-mounted kitchen taps to the Quoss Chrome Reno Transformer Cobra Flex Single Lever Mixer.

I need some guidance on the removal process of the existing setup shown in the photo.

I want to remove the current hot/cold handles and the spout to install the Quoss transformer kit which uses the existing breeching piece behind the wall.

What is the best way to remove these specific handles and the spout without damaging the tiles? Are there any hidden screws (grub screws) I should look for, or do the flanges just unscrew from the wall?

Any tips on tools needed or potential pitfalls would be greatly appreciated!

Just a friendly reminder that any plumbing work needs to be carried out by a registered plumber for safety and compliance.

I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to replace a tap washer. This will give you a general idea of how to remove the tap handles, spindle and flange. You will need an adjustable wrench to remove the handle spindle and spout. The general steps will be to remove the top locking nut which will allow you to remove the handle and flange. The spindle is then removed and the center outlet is capped off. Please have a look at the installation guide below.
