Dining table pvc cover or plastic cover?

Question

I am after a plastic cover for the dining table so its scratch free and heat resistant for future use. Any leads where o find and how to fix. I came across a post from one of the community member here. If you can suggest where to buy the plastic cover and how to fix the corners would be highly appreciated. Attaching the oic of the table that was provided by the community member on this platform for reference.

You'll find this clear vinyl sheeting sold per metre in our Bunnings stores. The team can cut you off as much as you need.

Regarding fixing the corners, Eric, in that discussion, gives some advice on using a hairdryer to slightly warm the vinyl so it conforms to the shape of the table better. Alternatively, you could use clear mounting tape to hold it in the corners.

Just touching on your requirement of it being heat-resistant, vinyl or PVC can have wamr items placed on it, but anything hot should be placed on a trivet.
