How to change door handle to lockable?

DIY job

I want to change this door handle to my office to a handle that is lockable with a key.

Is it possible to change it to a door handle that doesn't require modifications to where the latch for the handle would go?

I don't really want to have to chisel it out so it sits in their nicely. Just trying to find out if there would be a suitable handle where it's pretty much take the old one off and put the new one in without having to get a locksmith.

A nice, easy changeover without much fuss would be preferred.

In most cases, you can change an internal door handle to a lockable entrance lever without needing to modify the door or frame. Most modern handles are designed to suit standard door preparations, meaning the hole through the face of the door and the latch cavity in the edge are usually a common size. Something like the Ikonic Brushed Nickel Orbis Entrance Lever Set should line up with the existing bore hole and latch cut-out, making it largely a remove-and-replace job.

That said, there is always a possibility that a small amount of modification could be required. For example, the new striker plate on the frame might be a slightly different shape or size, or the latch faceplate on the edge of the door could have square rather than rounded corners. In some cases, you may need to slightly adjust the striker plate recess or swap the striker over entirely. Most latches are adjustable for either a 60mm or 70mm backset, which also helps avoid major alterations.

While I can’t guarantee that absolutely no modification will be needed, it’s typically a straightforward DIY changeover and unlikely to require a locksmith. Thank you for the advice. I'll just buy the door handle and give it a try for myself. Ok to make small modifications if needed but if still not going well I might use the service that Bunnings offers.

Also that door handle your suggested is an entrance door handle suitable for a front door of a house so the description says.

Wouldn't the below product be more suitable for an office door within a house?

It would be @Innov8tive, though you specifically requested a lockable handle that used keys. Keyed handles are typically referred to as entrance locks. The product you've linked to has a twist button lock, but is not keyed.
