We recently got our windows replaced with double glazed and some of the frames are a little bit smaller than what was there. This has meant that the brick beneath our exterior rendering has been exposed in some strips. What products or process are best for matching the rendering? I know there are some large buckets of rendering at my local Bunnings, but are there some available at a scale more suitable for this project? Thanks, Daniel
Hi @Oburodon,
I'd suggest you have a look at the Dunlop 4L Premix Render Joint And Patch and the Polyfilla Exterior Brick and Render Masonry. Depending on the size of the area, these are likely your best options. Once applied and they've been left to cure for the time recommended on the pack, you can prime and paint them to match the rest of the render.
You can also check out @Nailbag's guide on How to repair a rendered wall for some guidance on the application process.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
