I am looking at replacing the slagging beam. I would like to know what equipment/setup I would need to use to support the structure during the replacement.

Thank you for your question.
To support your rafters while replacing the beam, you can use Acrow Props, which can be hired through our partnership with Coates Hire. You would place an acrow prop underneath each individual rafter, within about 200-300mm of the beam, and then temporarily screw the prop to the rafters with batten screws.
When the pressure has been taken off the beam, you can remove it and replace it, fix it to the posts, then wind down the acrow props and fix the rafters to the new beam.
