How to fix alfresco roof leak?

Hi folks

Attached is the image of my alfresco roof. I have highlighted some points from where water drips. Assuming seal has come off or worn out. Question, how can I access this part without falling through the roof :) ? It’s connected to my house roof.

I would be hesitant in getting up on the roof as well, @Nailbag has named the most likely culprit as well and that is an outside (ontop) fix so definently I would be heading towards a professional to either replace the flashing along the top or seal the rubber grommets that may have perished since the install.

I would also test the roof out by hosing once its been fixed :) Better tyo do it sooner than wait for some rain.

I don't want to advise on how to access the roof due to both your safety and the potential to damage the poly sheets if not done correctly. I would take @EricL advise on this and get a trade in. Any roofing plumber can sort this for you. It's most likely a flashing issue at the peak of the roof. And any spots along the beams will be either missing screws or most likely ones where the rubber seal has perished. In any case an easy repair for the plumber.

Due to the location of the leaks on your alfresco roof, I suggest engaging the services of a roofing specialist. They will have the specialist ladders that will allow them to safely reach the location where the leaks are occurring. The only other safe method I'm aware of is to remove the roofing panels from the end and work your way to the damaged section by removing the panels one at a time. The roofing frame is just not strong enough to hold the weight of a grown adult.
