How do i fix a leaning wooden fence post?
Ie thick galvanised strip driven into ground?.
I have E-Z Fence Repairer brackeymt but looking for somethong easier to drive between concrete and wooden post
Hi thomason_peter1,
Could you share a couple of photos of the post and let us know roughly how much space you’ve got between the timber post and the concrete? That’ll really help narrow down the best option.
If you’re already finding it tight getting the E-Z Fence Repairer bracket in, that’s generally one of the slimmer and easier-to-drive repair solutions available. If that won’t fit, it does suggest there’s very limited room to work with between the post and the concrete.
For a leaning fence post, the more secure long-term fix is usually driving in a taller, heavier-duty steel support, something like the Jack 180cm Ultrapost Premium Steel Fence Post, and then securing the timber post back to it. That gives you far better strength and stability, especially if the original concrete footing has loosened.
