How to remove Boyd deadlock?

Hi All,

I have a Boyd Deadbolt that I would like to replace, having troubles removing it. Please see pic of inside side of the deadbolt.

I've inserted an Alan Key in the two holes and tried to unscrew it but it does do anything.

The housing plate does not have any visible marking to remove either.

Thank you for sharing your question about your Boyd deadlock. I propose using the Craftright 8 Piece T-Handle Hex Key Set so that they sit properly into the Allen head screws. It's important that the Allen key sit firmly into the screw otherwise it will not move. Please make sure to turn anti-clockwise to loosen the screw. Keep in mind that the screw is very long so you will be turning the Allen key for a while. It may seem like nothing is happening, but the screw is slowly getting screwed out. My best advice is to be patient and to make sure that the Allen key is sitting firmly on the head of the screw.
