How to glue a slate tile back onto concrete path?

Good afternoon all,

As previously mentioned in another post, I would like to know how to adhere a slate tile back onto a concrete base. I've had 2 handymen over the years have a go, but both times the tile lost its grip and came off like in the photo I've shared.

I would like to know what I can use to fix the slate tile back in its original position on the concrete path? Also, how do I clean the area before gluing the tile back in?

I propose washing the concrete base with detergent and water in combination with a scrub brush. Your goal is to remove all the mud and debris on the surface of the concrete base. If the moss and mould are difficult to remove, I recommend using 30 Seconds 1L Mould Off on its surface. If you have a pressure washer that would even be better. Make sure to wash the bottom of the slate as well.

Once the concrete base and slate are totally dry, I suggest using Selleys 415g Liquid Nails Landscape Stone Concrete Adhesive to glue the two surfaces together.
