9 outdoor blinds all in good order ,I can’t afford to change them ,but would love to paint them a plain Grey can this be done ,and what products would I use, they have a coating on them that must make them water proof

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about painting your outdoor blinds.
Another member has made a similar query a while back. I'm sorry but the blinds can't be painted, due to its flexible nature. Not only does the blind's material shrink and expand but it also flexes, rolls and shears. This means that surface moves too much and can't be painted properly. The paint in essence would peel off in a short amount of time due to all that movement.
One possible way to disguise or add a neutral colour to the surface of the blind is to cover the surface with Coolaroo 1.83 Wide Black Light-Duty Screening Shade Cloth 70% UV Block. The shade cloth can be placed above outdoor blinds to cover its colour. It can be sewn on so that when the outdoor blinds roll back it can take the shade cloth with it. I propose having a look at the store and see if it will suite your needs.

thanks Eric ,that advice helped me out,I do like the idea offered to cover the blinds with the shade cloth I will definitely have a look i,next time I’m in store
