How to fix leaking from shower through the grout valley?

Hi all,

I have noticed that after showering, there is always bleeding of water along the grout valley near the hinges. While there is glasses above with chalking, it seems there is a little hole there. Tried to use bathroom sealant but it seems the sealant cannot stay.

What can I do to fix this?

Thank you for sharing the photo of your shower door. It appears that the grout between the tiles has gone very low and is allowing water to bridge across the gap and outside your shower cubicle. I propose removing the grout line with a QEP Professional Grout Saw. Please note that you don't need to remove all the grout only the one that is near the shower door that needs modifying.

Once you have removed the old grout, you can put new grout in such as the Dunlop 800g Ready-To-Go Coloured Grout - Slate Grey or similar. Please make sure to check the colour of the grout to make sure that it is close or similar to the colour of your showers grout. Use a QEP 6" Handyman Squeegee to level the grout, make sure to leave it flat near the shower door so that water can't go under it.

Make sure to give the grout enough time to cure before you use the shower.
